DIRECT INSTRUCTION

Our DIRECT INSTRUCTION (DI) program is a structured “phonics” based reading, language and mathematics program.

Our classroom teachers engage in daily learning centers which includes an advance Technology Integration using iPads and ViewSonic Boards. A learning center is typically a designated area within the classroom that provides students with exciting and interesting experiences to practice, enrich, reteach, and enhance their learning. These types of centers are filled with manipulatives, art materials, books, and other instructional tools.

The DI program has received recognition and has been shown to be very effective in teaching fundamental academic skills to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
